Originally from central Iowa, Alex developed a passion for the arts through movies and growing up in a creative environment. Starting with photography and photo editing, he transitioned into pursuing cinematography and filmmaking. Over the last five years, he’s worked on commercials, feature films, and shot several award-winning short films.
